Tagliata di Cervia
the green pearl of the Riviera Romagnola
Tagliata, a small hamlet of the municipality of Cervia, called “the green pearl of the Riviera Romagnola” in the Legambiente blue guide and Touring Club guide, is characterized by the presence of the centuries-old PINE FOREST which runs along the beach, separating it from the residential area.
Tagliata di Cervia is the “green lung” of our Riviera.
Its pine forest, officially named a Nature Reserve by ministerial decree in 1977, is a stretch of 25 hectares (almost 62 acres) of two species of Mediterranean pine: the maritime (or cluster) pine and the domestic (stone or umbrella) pine, commonly called the “pine nut pine”; it is equipped with bike and foot paths, play areas for children, fitness trails, and equipment for fans of exercise, jogging, various sports, and outdoor living.
A true paradise for wellness lovers!
